Prabhash Mountain, the main pilgrimage site of Jainism, search across the country for the miraculous idol stolen from here
The sixth Padma Prabhu attained Kaivalya on Prabhash Giri mountain in Kaushambi district. People of Jain community often visit this mountain of penance and knowledge. Due to these devotees coming from other states, this area has always been filled with religious activities, but during the Corona period, this process came to a halt. Now the movement of devotees has started again, due to which people are happy. The Jain community is very excited. But there is a pain among them that the police could not bring back the stolen idol of miraculous Padma Prabhu even after a decade. Police caught thieves in many states, including Rajasthan but the actual idol could not be found.
All mental disorders go away by seeing the pillar of honor:
The sixth Padma Prabhu was born in Kaushambi. He had made this mountain his abode of penance. There is a temple here. A Maan Stambh has been built in the temple. It is believed that the person who enters the temple with Nasikta, the darkness like lust, anger, deceit, etc. goes away just by seeing the Man Stambh. Jain archaeological material and sculptures are found around here. Remains of the Mann Pillar, with many four-faced statues and other sculptures, have been discovered through excavation.
The miraculous idol of Padma Prabhu was not found.
Sixth Verse: It has been almost two decades since the idol of the Lord was stolen. But the idol could not be located. This statue was priceless because it changed its color in sunlight. People of the Jain community considered it a miracle of the sixth Padma Prabhu. After the theft of the idol, a movement started in the entire country, and then the police recovered an idol, but the knowledgeable people of the Jain community denied the existence of the earlier idol. A few days later, some people were caught in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, who confessed to stealing the idol, but even then, the idol could not be recovered.
Preserving Pristine Beauty:
To cherish Prabhash Giri’s majestic beauty, cleanliness is paramount. Keeping the site litter-free not only upholds its charm but also reflects a collective responsibility towards preserving our natural wonders. Let’s pledge to safeguard this treasure for future generations.
Unveiling the Sacred Temple:
Atop the grand hills lies a sacred Jain temple, a place of reverence and tranquility. The temple stands as a testament to faith and tradition, welcoming devotees to immerse in prayer and contemplation amidst ethereal surroundings.
